About the Department:

The department of Physics, Hukum Singh Bora Government Post Graduate College Someshwar, came into existence in 2018 with the vision of imparting education in the field of physics that meets the ever challenging needs of teaching and technical excellence in various areas of physics. The department offers six semesters for undergraduate (B.Sc) program. The Department has rich teaching traditions since its inception. Presently, there is one faculty members in the department profoundly involved in the teaching. The department offers a vibrant atmosphere to students and faculty to nurture the spirit of scientific inquiry in a highly encouraging environment.

To establish a quality-based education by igniting young talented minds with novel ideas and to develop scientific temper and sense of social commitment in students.  To impart state-of-the-art knowledge of physics to create strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
