About the Department:  

The department of zoology was established in 1 July- 2018 in Hukum Singh Bora Government P.G College Someshwar with an aim to provide quality education to the students and to contribute for the development of animal Sciences and Zoological studies.

There is only one post for the Assistant Professor in the faculty and presently Dr. Prachi Tamta (Assistant Professor) is appointed in this post.

The departmental Laboratory includes Digital Weighing Balance. pH meter, different types of Microscopes, hot air oven, centrifuge, Various animal specimens, Equipment required for blood related experiments, various insect colleting tools, and Slides.

To equip the students in the areas of zoological learning and research, so as to enable them to compete at the national and international levels and achieve excellence in research and teaching in their field of modern biology.
