About the Department:

Hukum Singh Bora government post graduate college Someshwar was established in 2006. The Department of Economics in the college was established in the year 2010. Well qualified full time faculty member is working for the department. By studying economics students gain a solid foundation of theory and applications of Economics that enable students to analyse and understand many issues from an economic perspective. The faculty member actively participates in National and international seminar and conferences and also mentors the students.

The faculty member provides academic and personal counselling for competitive exams, and is also guiding the students towards entrepreneurship and self-employment. Department also organizes quiz competitions, essay writing, poster competition, group discussion etc. For overall personality development of the students.
