Shri. Jagdish Prasad Department In-charge. | About the Department: In H.S.B. Govt PG college Someshwar Almora, Chemistry Department was established in year of 2006, But in year of 2018 B.Sc. Bio group. And mathematic group were conducted first time. Since 2018 Chemistry subject conducted. Two batches of B.Sc. have been passed out in year of 2021 and 2022. There are approx. 90 students in chemistry department. Department in-charge Mr. Jagdish Prasad and Lab assistant Mr. Kundan Singh Bisht. A few equipment and instrument such as digital balance, chemical balance, magnetic thermal stirrer, digital pH meter is available in the laboratory. Chemistry lectures also delivered through smart electronic LED board. The vision and mission of the department is to conduct the PG classes in chemistry and to Motivate the students for qualifying the NET/JRF and research work in the field of Nano Chemistry in the Department. |
